A Smart switchboard is a pre-programmed switchboard that allows the user to monitor and control specific devices remotely. Essentially, it consolidates the control of all your devices so you don’t have to worry about programming and monitoring each device individually. A Smart switchboard also comes with numerous advantages, including increased safety for operators and users, particularly during maintenance. It also allows the operator to communicate with their devices and machinery without risking exposing themselves to arc flashes and other potential dangers.

Smart switchboards are low voltage switchboards, meaning they are rated to handle voltages of 1000V (1kV) and under. They can also be outfitted with special features that monitor environmental factors, busbar temperature and more.
