For high class circuit protection.
As a current limiting fuse, Class CC fuses introduce further current interruption and resistance when the fuse element has melted within its current range, thus reducing the current magnitude and duration. Most commonly used throughout commercial and industrial applications for branch circuits, motor circuits and relay circuits, Class CC fuses are available in current ratings up to 30A.
Class CC fuses are 600V fuses and are available as both time delay or fast-acting fuses. The trip mechanism on a time delay fuse depends on the time it takes for the fuse element to melt, while fast-acting fuses react to an overload extremely quickly, regardless of the element temperature.
Don’t judge a fuse by its size.
These current limiting fuses pack a big punch for a relatively small fuse, and while they may be small in size, they are quite rugged. A popular choice for the protection of small horsepower motor circuits and other industrial uses, these fuses are also outfitted with rejection tips, which keeps them from being installed in improper fuse holders.
