Fan control panel features and basics
Fan control panels are used to monitor, control and automate fan systems, ventilation systems, exhaust fans, supply fans, and more. Through a collection of sensors, controls and switches, fan control panels can be automated to turn on and off automatically (for emergency situations), or automated to run continuously for a specific period of time according to the operator’s preferences.
For example, if a temperature sensor in the control panel detects a dangerous increase in heat, the sensor will activate the fan system. Or similarly, if the fan system is running too hot, it can also automatically shut down. They can also be programmed to run at different capacities at different times, and to control the speed of the fans.
Fan control panel uses and applications.
Fan control panels can be found throughout a variety of applications across industrial and commercial sectors. They are commonly found in warehouses for ventilation, industrial or commercial kitchens, boilers, furnaces, water heaters and more. Fan control panels can be used for the simplest systems to the most complex and can be built to accommodate both single-phase and three-phase fans.
