Feed through terminal blocks can be either DIN rail or rail mounted, and are available as either a NEMA or IEC terminal block. As the name suggests, these terminal blocks allow wires to go through one side of the panel to the other. Available in a number of configurations and styles, feed through terminal blocks can be either screw clamp terminal blocks or spring type which can handle heavier vibrations.

Feed through terminal blocks can be single-level, double-level, or triple-level terminal blocks, meaning that one, two, or three separate, unconnected wires can be fed through the panel. Commonly used in railway applications among others, feed through terminal blocks can accommodate different wire sizes and are compact in size. Feed through terminal blocks can use one use push in connections, screw connections or bolt connections - the choice is completely up to you. Installation of feed through terminal blocks does not require any special tools. These terminal blocks can be used for all types of control panels regardless of thickness.
