Breaker is brand new in box and ships with original manufacturer packaging. It has never been installed or energized. In most cases, the packaging is unopened.

USED:

Breaker has been previously energized and/or installed and is reconditioned and tested by our certified technicians before shipping. All used breakers meet original OEM standards.

Warranty

All breakers come with a minimum one-year replacement warranty, with some new items carrying multi-year factory-backed warranties.

Sylvania Circuit Breakers

Sylvania circuit breakers were widely installed in residential and light commercial electrical panels throughout the mid-twentieth century. Many electricians encounter these breakers in older homes and buildings where original electrical infrastructure is still in place.

Sylvania panels often used breaker designs similar to those produced by Zinsco, and the two brands share historical connections through changes in manufacturing ownership over time. Because of these similarities, replacement breakers are sometimes interchangeable depending on the panel design.

As with many legacy electrical products, original Sylvania breakers are no longer manufactured, and many installations rely on components that have been in service for several decades. When breakers fail or require replacement, contractors often seek compatible aftermarket breakers (Connecticut Electric) or used replacement units designed to match the original panel configuration.
